I'm a big fan of Deborah Anne Dyer, better known as Skin, the frontwoman of the British alternative rock band Skunk Anansie. With her powerful performances on stage, but also because of her confident and cool behavior off stage, she embodies strenght and is a role model to me and many other women. She is a unique, intelligent, glamorous beauty, an outstanding person.

This illustration has won several awards, e.g. from 3x3 magazine and has also appeared in Lürzer's Archive. The biggest award, however, was an appreciative emoji comment on Instagram from Skin herself! I'm super proud that she likes my portrait of her!

“I tend to assign Julia Kerschbaumer for particularly tricky tasks, as she is prepared to go the extra mile to master them. She works conscientiously, researches extensively and, even under time pressure, creates unique three-dimensional spaces that are visually enthralling.”
