Personal work – Hand lettering illustration of my horse Roy.

In this illustration it was a challenge to find the balance between a vivid horse shape and the readability of the name “Roy”. The typography-background is composed of words that describe the place where Roy lived at this time: “Wienerwald” means “Vienna Woods”, “Weide” means “Meadow”, “Wiese, Gras” means “hayfield and grass”, there was also a sea (“See”), morass (“Sumpf”) and the grass was full of flowers (“Blumenwiese”).
